POKEMON X and YPokemon invented the crazy idea of capturing/ collecting creatures and battling with your friends. As one of the worlds most popular series, Pokemon is now on 3DS.
One thing I do appreciate with X and Y is that now the pokemon series is in full 3D graphics ( there is stereoscopic 3D too) and it looks glorious. I love how colorful the game is. Nothing bleak about it. Everything looks like the anime and its amazing. It's also nice to see the actual background in battles too! |
Gameplay has some new additions too but it mostly the same as the last generations. They added a new type! It's been a long while but now we got upsets to the battle familiarity and that is the Fairy Type. You now don't need HM slaves (other then fly ofcourse). None of the HM moves are required to continue however all the usual blockage is still there for extra goodies. Online also is more diverse as well. You can battle and trade with random online players
With over 718 pokemon to collect, trade, train (with IV and EV) and online battles, X and Y can easily last hundred of hours. Because the title is not updated to full 3D and fleshed out, I can say it's easily the best in the entire series. This is worth getting (unless you don't like this genre) and worth getting!
